The Haunted Hinsdale House The Ghost Finders

Nestled deep in the rolling hills of western New York, stands one of America’s most haunted
homes—the Hinsdale House. Built in the mid-19th century, its peaceful façade hides decades of dark
history, unexplained phenomena, and a chilling sense of unfinished business. It was rescued from the
brink of demolition by paranormal investigator Daniel Klaes, who lovingly restored it to its former 1970s
glory—right down to the wood paneling, linoleum floors, and vintage furnishings that whisper stories of
the past. We, The Ghost Finders—Rob Thompson, Steve Dills, Guest Medium Heidi Kemper, Drag Queen and Paranormal Investigator Monique TooSoon and Skeptic Brian
Rizzo. The Ghost Finders have investigated the Hinsdale House on several occasions over the past twelve seasons. But
tonight, we return for a follow-up visit, to recap and compare the most compelling evidence and
experiences we’ve captured within these haunted walls. On our first visit, the moment I crossed the
threshold, I saw her—the form of a little girl standing silently at the bottom of the staircase. Sad, lost,
and waiting for someone who never came. Downstairs, I channeled the spirit of a tall, broad-shouldered
Native American presence. His energy was protective—not only of the house, but the land itself. That
night, our cameras and recorders captured something extraordinary: the faint echo of tribal drumming
from the nearby forest. A haunting rhythm that none of us could explain. Our second visit revealed
something deeper. The energy had intensified. We experienced shadow figures darting across the
upstairs hallway, objects moving on their own, and cold spots that dropped the temperature by over ten
degrees in seconds. But perhaps the most unnerving moment came when Heidi made direct contact
with the spirit of a woman—possibly the matriarch of the Dandy family—whose pain still echoes through
the structure. By our third visit, it was clear that Hinsdale House is no ordinary haunting. The land itself
holds layers of trauma, from Native American conflicts to the Dandy family’s tragic experiences in the
1970s. Every investigation seems to peel back another layer of its history—a living, breathing timeline
of sorrow and spirit. Tonight, as we return once again, we do so not just as investigators—but as
witnesses to a story that refuses to fade. Because here, at the Haunted Hinsdale House, the past isn’t
gone. It’s waiting… watching… and ready to speak.
